We checked six choir and club apps against 90 features. The result in three numbers:
90 of 90
features checked are in Chorilo. The most complete other app offers 26.
€8.33
a month, no matter how many members you have. For the same scope elsewhere, a choir of 30 members needs two programs and pays from about €32.
0 of 6
other apps combine finances, board work and sheet music in one tool.
Your data stays in Germany
Member data, sheet music and files are stored only on servers in Germany – with German companies that have no US parent. For the other choir apps we checked, this is not fully documented.
Documented by none of the other apps:
- A separate deadline for everyone who hasn't replied yet
- Reminders that move along when an event is rescheduled
- Shared rehearsal: the director puts the same piece on everyone's screen
- One price, no matter how many members
Checked in September 2026 using the public pages of six choir and club apps.
What Others Say
Jürgen Faßbender
Choir Director, International Adjudicator and Member of the World Choir Council
What convinces me about Chorilo is the well-thought-out connection between sheet music management and scheduling. I can specify which pieces we will work on for each rehearsal, and my singers immediately know what to prepare. The attendance overview shows me at a glance what voice distribution I can expect. Add to that polls and announcements that significantly simplify communication within the choir. A tool that is truly made for practice.
Alwin Michael Schronen
Composer and Publisher
Chorilo offers publishers and composers the opportunity to bring their music directly to choirs via e-print distribution. The licensing is transparent and clear – each license receives a unique key that appears on the sheet music. This way, choirs can use copyrighted works with a clear conscience, and everyone knows that the valuable work of creators and publishers is protected and fairly compensated. The sheet music is available to choirs immediately – no waiting, no shipping. Without complicated contracts, without detours. This creates trust on both sides.
Jan Schumacher
Choir Director, University Music Director, International Adjudicator and Vice President of IFCM
Leading multiple ensembles requires clear structures. Chorilo brings sheet music, schedules, and communication together in one place – a reliable foundation for building ambitious projects. I particularly appreciate this when working with different ensembles. Singers have all the information they need at their fingertips, on the go or at home. It saves time and creates space for what matters most: the music. So that the preparation is as good as the concert.

- What happens after the 60 days?
- Nothing, unless you choose a plan. The trial ends on its own and nothing is charged.
- Why a flat price?
- Because choirs grow. 15 or 150 members – the price stays the same, and nobody has to do the maths.
- What happens to our data if we cancel?
- You export everything as a file first, then we delete your choir completely. Nothing left behind, no follow-up questions.
