Setup wizard (set up your choir)

What is this?

The setup wizard opens right after you create a choir. It guides you through the most important settings in three steps:

1. Basic Settings: name, colour, time zone and watermark for sheet music
2. Events and members: the same switches as under Choir settings > General, e.g. Require decline reason for events, Allow "Maybe" as an answer, Automatic event reminders, Parent link and Enable Projects
3. Voice Parts: the most common voice parts are already created; you add, rename or delete.

How to use the wizard

1. After Create Ensemble the wizard opens automatically.
2. Fill in each step and click Next, or click Skip.
3. With Back you go back one step.
4. In the last step click Complete Setup.

Continue later

1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
2. Select Setup. You see “… of … done” and the list of steps.
3. Click a step to open the matching setting, or click Continue setup.

Permission

Only administrators of the choir can see the Setup section.

Tips

• Enter bank details later, once you need SEPA direct debits or invoices: under Choir settings > General.
• The cash book offers you the chart of accounts when you first open it: in the notice Choose a chart of accounts, click Set up chart of accounts.
• Set up ensemble functions under Choir settings > Voices & roles.
• Then invite members, via the Invitation link, one by one or by import.
